Flowers and fruits dominated the past week's big product announcements from Absolut, Four Loko and the Girl Scout Cookie makers at ABC Bakers.
This week saw pomegranate and margarita alcohol launches, as well as some nutritional emphasis in for children and dieters from Kashi and RightSize. Have a look at what they're all making below:
1. ABSOLUT HIBISKUS
Company: Pernod Ricard US
Absolut vodka will get a little more floral on shelves this month, as the spirit family adds Absolut Hibiskus to its flavor library. The official announcement explains that the new option with contain the flavors of the hibscus flower and pomegranate.
2. FOUR LOKO MARGARITA
Company: Phusion Projects, LLC
Phusion Projects on Monday announced that it will roll out a new margarita flavor of its famous malt beverage. It will come in 23.5-ounce cans, but Phusion recommends enjoy it over ice.
3. MANGO CREMES WITH NUTRIFUSION
Company: ABC Bakers
Girl Scout Cookies are getting a new flavor this year as Mango Cremes join the troop. The sandwich cookies use vanilla and coconut flavoring with a mango-flavored creme inside. The new addition also packs in a list of nutrient benefits, according to the ABC Bakers site.
4. RIGHTSIZE SINGLE-SERVE SMOOTHIE PACKS
Company: RightSize Health & Nutrition Corporation
In an attempt to woo new-year dieters on-the-go, RightSize announced new single-serving packs of its smoothies in Lean Cocoa Bean, SkinniVanilli Slend-A-Berry and Leano Cappuccino flavors. The packet contents are intended mixing with skim milk or a milk substitute for handy smoothie creation.
5. APPLE COBBLER AND BERRY MUFFIN KASHI BARS
Company: Kashi
Kashi presented two new varieties of its Soft n' Chewy Bars last week in Berry Muffin and Apple Cobbler. Ingredients include apple and pumpkin, along with Kashi's grains. Kashi also makes a point of leaving out artificial preservatives and fructose corn syrup.
