Forget the popcorn: Nowadays, consumers are looking to supplement their Netflix binges and movie marathons with the same delicacies sampled on screen. Food companies have answered this desire by producing a variety of food and beverages inspired by culinary delights in popular culture, from dog treats to jelly beans in every (and we mean every) flavor. 

Below are some of our favorite treats that were just too good to stay on the screen. 

Tru Blood Beverage

Fashioned after the fictional Tru Blood that helps vampires in the HBO True Blood show stave off their blood cravings, this soda drink is said to have a “slightly tart, lightly sweet” (what else?) blood orange flavor. Though the beverage is currently out of stock on its website, the company promises to "get the blood pumping" shortly. 

Willy Wonka Candy Company

Fans of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and its film adaptations can enjoy Everlasting Gobstoppers, Nerds, and Laffy Taffy from this Nestle brand. Whether you choose to follow Charlie and Grandpa Joe’s lead and break into song after unwrapping a Wonka Bar that's up to you.

Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and Chocolate Frogs 

Even though their admissions letter from Hogwarts never came, fans of the books and movies can still taste a piece of Harry Potter's world with these two confections from Jelly Belly. Be wary with the jelly beans: Just like in the movies, flavors range from the usual (green apple, banana) to the unappetizing (earthworm, pepper, and booger). 

Game of Thrones Fire and Blood Beer

While we thought wine was the drink of choice on this popular HBO show, Brewery ​Ommegang has created three different brews inspired by dragon-mama Daenerys Targaryen. The drinks feature “assertive hopping and spicy notes from ancho chilies and rye.”

Ben & Jerry’s "Schweddy Balls" Ice Cream

Saturday Night Live fans curious to try “Schweddy Balls” could finally do so with this limited-edition flavor from the always funky ice cream company, released in 2011. Referencing the famous 1990’s SNL skit, the flavor consisted of vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum, “loaded with” both fudge covered rum and malt balls.

Scooby Snacks

It was only a matter of time before a pet food company capitalized on the name of these apparently addictive dog treats. Whether they come with linguistic powers for your canine, that is yet to be determined.
