- Dozier arrived just a few months after a cyberattack impacted Ahold Delhaize’s U.S. network, causing temporary outages for Hannaford’s e-commerce services and leading to wide out-of-stocks at Stop & Shop.
Dive Insight:
In her new role, Dozier is responsible for overseeing IT with a focus on supporting the omnichannel businesses for the U.S. grocery banners as well as the parent company’s Growing Together strategy, the announcement noted.
While at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, Dozier managed the business’s IT needs through mergers, acquisitions and digitization. Before that, she held commercial, supply chain, e-commerce and IT roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Dean Foods and Colgate Palmolive.

Dozier started her career in tech with Electronic Data Systems and IBM. The announcement noted that Dozier has supported the development of talent and technology leaders through organizations like IT Women, Women in Technology and NextUp.
“In a short time, [Ann is] already leveraging her diverse background in IT and food retail to positively impact our businesses,” Ahold Delhaize USA CEO JJ Fleeman said in a statement.
“Ann is a proven leader, passionate about developing people and teams.”
Dozier’s appointment marks the latest executive change for Ahold Delhaize’s U.S. operations. Earlier this year, Rudy DiPietro, a longtime Ahold Delhaize executive who most recently served as vice president of omnichannel planning and execution for Ahold Delhaize USA, became president of Kroger’s Dallas Division.
At the end of last year, Ahold Delhaize USA named Greg Finchum as the next president of Food Lion, succeeding Meg Ham, who retires next month. In September, Roger Wheeler, who had served as Ahold Delhaize USA’s chief commercial officer and head of supply chain, became president of the Stop & Shop banner. Last June, Kim Gray left her position as vice president of omnichannel development for the company to become the chief merchant at Schnuck Markets.
