The trade group promoted Diane Gill to controller and vice president of financial operations. She will lead financial strategies and operations with an added focus of overseeing FMI’s financial direction, according to the announcement. FMI promoted Steven Harris to senior director of government relations and strategic initiatives, where he will continue to build FMI’s relationships with government entities. Harris has been with FMI for 15 years, holding numerous leadership positions related to FMI’s political affairs, according to his LinkedIn profile. Most recently, he served as the association’s director of policy development and regulatory compliance.
Tom Cosgrove, who has worked for FMI for the past seven years, was appointed director of industry relations to assist in advancing the food industry’s efforts in asset protection, technology, supply chain, risk and safety, and private brand portfolios.
