Dive Insight:
The grocer’s Holiday Entertaining collection meal bundles feed between two to 18 individuals and include options such as turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, pies, tarts and brownies, according to the announcement.
Shoppers must place their meal orders through Publix’s website or the Instacart app at least 48 hours in advance and select a delivery or pickup time. Same-day delivery is eligible for smaller items like individual side dishes and desserts, the press release noted.
Grocers continue to roll out both ready-to-eat as well as essential ingredients meal bundles to assist shoppers this holiday season. One of the specialty grocer’s offerings can serve up to a dozen guests for less than $15 per person.
Last week, Kroger announced its Friendsgiving meal offering, providing shoppers with a holiday basket that includes turkey, numerous sides and a pre-made pumpkin pie.
