- All located in Arizona, the locations will each include a workspace area and a full drink menu.
- The growing collaboration between the two Phoenix-based businesses follows a successful pilot location announced in October 2022.
Dive Insight:
The first of the four in-store cafes opened Friday. Two more are scheduled to open in December and the final store opening is set for February, according to the announcement.
Each Press Coffee bar will include specialty drinks like drip and cold brew coffees, shakers, hot and iced tea, and nitro bold brew, as well as its monthly coffee bean subscriptions. The coffee bars will also have a limited supply of retail items, such as whole and ground coffee beans, the announcement noted.
“PRESS and Sprouts have a shared mission of providing people fresh, quality, sustainable and ethically sourced specialty products. We are proud to continue with this partnership to enhance our customer experience across the Valley,” Sprouts Chief Strategy Officer Dave McGlinchey said in a statement.
The debut Sprouts Press Coffee bar is located on 7th Avenue and Osborn Road in Phoenix and also offers in-store seating and general retail items. McGlinchey noted that customers “truly enjoyed” having access to Press coffee while shopping at the pilot store.
Founded in 2008, Press Coffee operates a dozen Valley locations across Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona.
As of Friday, Sprouts opened its final two new locations for 2023, completing its goal of launching 30 new stores this year, according to a spokesperson for the grocer.
