Dive Insight:
This latest tie-up is Sprouts’ most recent effort to continue offering local goods to shoppers as well as more in-store foodservice experiences.
The first Klatch Coffee cafe will offer signature Klatch drinks, including signature drip, iced cold brew coffee, espresso-based drinks and shakes as well as an exclusive food menu with items such as berry ricotta toast. The cafe at the Fontana location will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., per the announcement.
During its first days operating over Memorial Day weekend, the Fontana store cafe will also offer the Smudgepot, a specialty drink with a complimentary Klatch Coffee glass can. Additionally, the first 50 shoppers on Saturday of the opening weekend will receive a Sprouts reusable shopping bag.
More Klatch Coffee cafes are slated to open throughout Southern California, where the local, family-owned coffee company has been based for the past 30 years. Sprouts’ Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Eastvale and Fullerton stores are next in line to open the cafes.
This is Sprouts’ second local coffee partnership Sprouts debuted its first Press Coffee coffee bar in Phoenix in fall 2022 and expanded the foodservice feature to more of its Arizona locations. Press Coffee’s website lists five locations inside Sprouts stores.
